Hope House Foundation serves adults with developmental disabilities at 14 apartment complexes in Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach. When choosing a location, we consider a number of things, including access to public transportation, walkability, hospitals and other medical care, recreation centers and libraries, nearby shopping and restaurants, and safety. We also consider the ability to modify apartments to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices as needed.
