We want you to know that the health and safety of those we support, our staff, volunteers and our supporters are the highest priority for our organization.

Who could ever imagine we would be where we are today? Through it all, we continue to serve the needs of people with developmental disabilities with steadfast determination and commitment.

When Hope House developed its strategic plan last year, providing services and support to people with disabilities in the midst of a pandemic was not included. Yet, here we are. Our unique financial challenges include having to cancel our fundraising events that provided much-needed capital, and having to secure additional personal protection equipment and supplies over the past nine months, adding more than $100,000 in unplanned expenses.

We are all in this together, and yes, we need a lifeline.

Services never stop for those we support. We continue to provide the highest level of support while maintaining a healthy and safe environment. But these stepped-up protocols don’t come free: we face increased food delivery costs, increased costs for safety equipment and unmet medical needs. We have also increased our use of technology so people can remain connected with family and friends during this crisis. These unexpected but vitally necessary outlays will be ongoing as we try our best to navigate this new normal.

Please consider making a gift to Hope House Foundation today. Your support makes such a difference. Today, your support is crucial.
